Celebrate the Holidays with the Gift of Giving Event!

Hey Valley Villagers!

Get into the festive spirit with the return of the Gift of Giving event happening in the Valley from December 17 to December 31.  During this magical time, you'll be able to craft special gifts to give Villagers, build snowmen, and find unique giftboxes hidden around the Valley containing new Touch of Magic rewards! 

How to Participate

NEW – Search for Gifts in the Valley

• From December 17 to 21, each day brings a chance to receive a new Touch of Magic (ToM) recipe by locating the new gift that has appeared in the Valley.
  • Gifts will only appear within the unlocked main Valley biomes.
• One gift will appear each day, and all gifts are claimable until December 31

NEW – Gift Under the Tree

• Be sure to log in and check under the Palace’s Christmas Tree on December 25 for an all-new freshly crafted gift redeemable until December 31!

Returning Activities

• Locate and collect the Festive Wrapping Paper appearing around Scrooge’s Store to use in special crafting recipes to create different gift types which can be gifted to villagers in order to greatly increase their friendship level!
  • 1-2 new Festive Wrapping Papers will appear around Scrooge’s Store every 2 hours, with a maximum of 4 being present in the Valley at once.
  • Festive Wrapping Paper will only appear where you have placed Scrooge’s Store within the main Valley biomes.
• Complete your festive fish collection by fishing out rare seasonal aquatic species that have returned to the Valley only available during the event period.
• The Build a Snowman quest returns to the Valley bringing with it the ability to decipher a memory image received from opening the chest that has appeared in the plaza during the event period to unlock a new craftable Snowman!
  • The Frozen Heights biome must be unlocked for the chest to appear.
  • If this quest has been previously completed, the chest will not appear.

• Santa Hat – complete the Even Fish Are Festive achievement.
• Winter Carpet – complete the A Home For The Holidays achievement.
• Festive Candy Ears with Bow – complete the Do You Wanna Craft a Snowman?  achievement.
• Festive Candy Ears – complete the Cookie Taste Test achievement.
