The Haunted Floating Festival Returns to the Valley!
Hey Valley Villagers!
Ready for a little mystery? The Haunted Floating Festival is back, bringing new thrills and chilling surprises to the Valley!
From October 7th to October 31st, step back onto the Floating Island and uncover a brand-new mystery waiting inside the Haunted Mansion, inspired by the attraction at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort.
How to Participate
Head to the Floating Island through the Plaza portal or the Event tab, then return regularly to discover new puzzles and rewards. Some puzzles may require items from your Valley!
Puzzle Unlock Schedule
October 7: Returning puzzles and the first Haunted Mansion puzzles unlock.
- October 18: The final Haunted Mansion mystery, including the Ghost Hunt, unlocks.
- October 31: The festival ends.
Returning Puzzles
If you joined us for last year's Haunted Floating Festival, you'll recognize some familiar challenges! Solve mysteries involving a ghostly critter, a combination puzzle, the Terror-rific Tree, a mysterious cauldron, and a haunted armor quiz.
Complete these returning challenges to earn: Clawed Foot Tub, Haunted Festival Dress, Terror-rific Tree, Black Cauldron, and Haunted Armor.
New Puzzles & Rewards
Puzzle 6: Find the Haunted Key
Explore the Haunted Mansion, destroy the right Lion Statues, open mysterious chests, light the Jack-o'-Lanterns, and follow a ghostly fox to collect two key fragments.
Once you've collected both fragments, combine them to craft the Haunted Key. Use the key to unlock the Bedroom and continue your Haunted Mansion adventure.
Puzzle 7: Haunted Library
Follow a trail of spooky books and place each one on the correct shelf to uncover the Haunted Mansion's hidden story.
Complete the library puzzle to uncover the Haunted Mansion's secrets and earn a Chomping Chest!
Puzzle 8: Release the Curse
Use clues hidden throughout the Haunted Mansion to solve the combination puzzle, recover the Missing Page, and restore the magical book.
Lift the curse and complete the puzzle to earn a Decorative Magic Seal!
Puzzle 9: Ghost Hunt
Starting October 18, search the festival grounds for 10 ghosts and photograph them with your camera to make them disappear.
Photograph all 10 ghosts to send them packing and claim a new furniture item to bring some haunted magic back to your Valley!
NEW – A Secret Discovery ???
Think you've uncovered everything? Think again!
A hidden key can lead you to a mysterious Basement beneath the Haunted Mansion. Explore this secret area and uncover one more surprise furniture item!
Additional Information
See below for specifics about the Haunted Floating Island:
- Enjoy the hauntingly beautiful decorations...with your eyes only! The island can’t be redecorated in edit mode. Additionally, some of your Royal Tools might not be available on the island, but you’ll still be able to interact with puzzle-related obstacles and some decorative elements.
- Snap haunting selfies and capture eerie souvenirs! Just remember, DreamSnaps can’t be submitted while on the festival grounds.
- Feeling uneasy in the chilling atmosphere? Use the wishing well to exit the Floating Island or open your map for a quick return to your peaceful Valley.
