August 04 Hotfix Patch Notes
Hey Valley Villagers!
Following the recent release of Pixel Perfect, we’ve been monitoring your feedback and are happy to confirm a hotfix addressing many of the top bugs and issues reported by our community.
As this hotfix is rolling out in separate patches per platform, updates may not go live at the same time. The Switch and Switch 2 versions of the hotfix will take additional time to roll out, and we’ll share an update when they are available.
We truly appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share feedback! Your input is essential in helping us address key issues and identify ways to further enhance your gaming experience.
Important note: Cross-progression will be unavailable on Switch platforms until the Switch version of the hotfix is released. We recommend that Switch players who use multiple platforms keep this limitation in mind during this period. Cross-progression functionality will be restored once the Switch version of the hotfix is available.
Please find the details of the contents of the hotfix below:
BUG FIXES AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS:
- Fixed an issue in The Music on the Walls quest where players could become blocked when trying to trap the shadow because the music podium was missing.
- UPDATE: We are looking into additional reports of blocked progress related to The Music On The Walls quest.
- Fixed a recurring issue where some players were not able to progress in a quest when it was stuck in the "Talk to [Character]" step.
- Fixed an issue where the Village could fail to load correctly after fast traveling with the Tropical Plaza Skin equipped, causing fishing ripples to disappear, mining rocks to become unavailable, and villagers to spawn outside the Village.
- Fixed an issue in quest Chapter 12: Old Plans, New Wind where the quest did not progress after picking up and examining the Worn Scout's Journal.
- Fixed an issue in "Chapter 3: A Very Satisfied Bear" where players would get stuck at "Tidy up Pooh's House by removing this mess"
- Fixed an issue in the Prologue: Childhood Treasures quest where the Glowing Tree was missing from the map, preventing players from progressing.
- Fixed an issue where the Scholarly Owl premium companion could appear free-roaming in the Library of Lore biome in Storybook Vale before being owned by the player.
- Fixed an issue on Nintendo where an unintended fourth column appeared in the House and Decoration Presets categories in the Furniture menu and was partially cut off.
- Fixed an issue where players would get stuck in the Uncrafting Station on the uncraft menu when pressing a button on a controller instead of the designated “Uncraft“ button.
- Fixed an issue were Truffles were not respawning when players went foraging in Honeyglow Woods.
- Fixed an issue where the Ralph’ Single Pixel Standing Lamp was incorrectly marked as outdoor-only, preventing it from being placed inside the Player House.
